This set of wheels will fit all years of the Yamaha TTR50. They are designed with minimal tip side to side. There is enough tip to allow the bike to turn easily and give the rider a bit of a feel for the bike. If you would like the ability to adjust the amount of tip the bike has side to side, be sure to view our Adjustable TTR50 training wheels.
There are many benefits to starting a young rider on training wheels. Not only does it teach them how to balance, but it also gives them the chance to learn the bike without being distracted by trying to keep it upright. They can safely get a feel for the weight of the bike as well as learning how to brake and throttle. It gives them the confidence they need to one day ride on their own. Best of all...you don't have to try and run along side the bike and hold them up. Yes, we've heard this more than once from a tired parent.
If your riding terrain is not completely hard and flat we do recommend the adjustable model to keep the bike from high centering. On bikes that we don't have an adjustable model for there is no worry. The mounting system on those bikes allows for more tip side to side so the bike should not high center.
Our early years of product and development has allowed us to bring you the best training wheels on the market today. One of the biggest changes we made very early on was going to a solid cold rolled steel axle. This gives the training wheels their superior strength and durability.
We use a 10" pneumatic tire and wheel assembly. Using larger tires make for easier riding in sand and dirt.
Our wheels are made specific to each bike. Nothing on your bike needs to be modified or removed.
Our wheels come fully assembled and ready to mount. All hardware is included. Installation typically takes 5 minutes or less.
We offer a 30 day warranty on the wheel and tire assembly. Flats are not covered under warranty. We offer a lifetime warranty on the axle and manufactured parts. If they are damaged under normal riding conditions we will replace them. All you have to pay is actual shipping. We can offer this kind of warranty because of the quality of our product. They just don't break under normal circumstances.
